Ruby serves as the Sectretary/Treasurer for Hope Ministries as well as coordinates the sale of Batwa crafts in the USA.

Ruby Minish joined the Army National Guard shortly after graduating high school. During her time in the guard she meet the man who is now her husband of 14 years. They have three beautiful children together. After Ruby’s daughter was born she left the military to pursue her dream of raising her children. She also took this time to get a bachelor’s degree in Small Business and Entrepreneurship.

Ruby has also done volunteer work with the Family Readiness Support Group of the Army National Guard with the units her husband still serves with. Serving people and loving people has a special place in her heart.

Ruby became involved with Hope Ministries Uganda after her first mission trip with Hope Ministries Uganda. She could not help but fall in love with the mission of the ministry and the way God moves. Most importantly she fell in love with the people of Uganda.

It is Ruby’s goal through working with the ministry and the people of Uganda, to show them the love of Christ and that even the little everyday tasks can bring Him glory.

Together with the men and women of Uganda, their crafts and the ministry, Ruby hopes to bring awareness to the struggles the Batwa face and a means of self sustainability in order to Redeem, Rebuild, Restore, and Raise up. To God be the Glory.
