Teresa serves as the Sponsorship Coordinator for Hope Ministries Uganda.

Teresa Robinson is a Substance Abuse Program Coordinator, currently supervising at two separate treatment programs in the Foothills of North Carolina Prison Systems. Teresa’s years of experience with Addiction Counseling has allowed her to use her expertise in Uganda in our Women’s Ministry Program, Women of Hope.

After many years of dealing with her own hurts, habits and hang-ups, God developed a passion in her heart to assist those who are hurting, whether it be physical or emotional abuse, to crushing drug addictions. God especially put a desire in her heart for children who have been forgotten. Teresa began to sponsor her first child with Hope Ministries Uganda in 2018 and several months later found herself in Uganda surrounded by the beautiful Batwa children wanting all of her love and hugs.

Teresa is truly passionate about her walk with God and always seeking His purpose and guidance in her life. This new found love with the children in Uganda lead Teresa to become a part of the Hope Ministries Uganda Board in 2019. Teresa serves on the Board of Directors and is also the Program Director of the Child Sponsorship Program.
